Cheteshwar Pujara is set make his first home appearance of the season for Sussex.
The India batsman was named in a 15-man squad to face Gloucestershire at Hove from tomorrow (11am).
England seamer Ollie Robinson, who missed the draw at Leicestershire, is also expected to play.
Sussex have taken 29 points from the opening two fixtures and lead the early-season table in Vitality County Championship division two, albeit with no team having yet won a game.
Pujara’s English season was delayed by a back injury but he will look to repeat the form which saw him score 649 runs, including three centuries, at an average of 54 last summer.
Sussex: from Alsop, Carson, Carter, Clark, Coles, Crocombe, Haines, Hudson-Prentice, Hunt, Karvelas, Lamb, Pujara, Robinson, Seales, Simpson.
