Albion are on the brink of completing the capture of 20-year-old Tyler Forbes from Fleetwood Town for a five-figure fee.
The Argus revealed last week Albion's move for Forbes, who will begin in the under-21s.
He has played 33 games in League One in the last two seasons for Fleetwood. The Lancastrians have Northern Ireland Euros finalist Connor McLaughlin as their No.1 rightback.
Forbes is set to finalise his switch south subject to passing a medical.
He is a potential long-term replacement for Bruno and the departed Inigo Calderon, who has joined Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta.
