East Grinstead men will play off for a bronze medal at the EuroHockey Indoor Club Champions Cup after an historic day for the club.
The Saint Hill club will take on either SV Arminen or Partille SC tomorrow for the opportunity to become the first English side ever to win a medal in the top level of European indoor hockey.
Having drawn both their games on Friday, Grinstead reached the semi-finals for the first time in their own history when Ross Stott scored a hat-trick in a 4-1 defeat of Spanish outfit Complutense this morning, captain Simon Faulkner adding the other.
They were then paired with hosts and holders Harvestehuder who proved too strong for the reigning English champions, reaching the final with a 4-0 victory and leaving Grinstead to face a third place play-off on Sunday
