Sussex's Chris Jordan has been named in England’s 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup in India.
The party, which will be captained by Eoin Morgan, includes one uncapped player in Hampshire all-rounder Liam Dawson.
But there is no place for another Sussex player, captain Luke Wright, despite Kevin Pietersen calling for him to be included.
Wright has not played for his country for nearly two years and his omission is no big surprise.
But he has been in tremendous form in the shortest format of the game this winter.
England’s T20 campaign begins on March 16 against West Indies.
Full England squad: Morgan (Middlesex, capt), Moeen Ali (Worcestershire), Sam Billings (Kent), Jos Buttler (Lancashire), Liam Dawson (Hampshire), Steven Finn (Middlesex), Alex Hales (Nottinghamshire), Chris Jordan (Sussex), Adil Rashid (Yorkshire), Joe Root (Yorkshire), Jason Roy (Surrey), Ben Stokes (Durham), Reece Topley (Hampshire), James Vince (Hampshire), David Willey (Yorkshire).
