Albion will still be without Andrew Crofts and Kazenga LuaLua for Saturday's home game against Birmingham.

But Inigo Calderon, Uwe Huenemeier and Rohan Ince will all be back in squad contention after missing Sunday's draw at Burnley.

Midfielder Crofts was set to replace thigh victim Sam Baldock in a reshuffle at Turf Moor until sustaining a slight hamstring injury.

Left-winger LuaLua (groin) has been sidelined since mid-September.

Hughton said today: "The longer term ones, Gaetan (Bong) and Sam Baldock, are both making good progress but they are still where they are.

"Andrew Crofts is close. The likelihood is I will just give him a little longer period to recover.

"Kazenga similar. He is another one I will probably give that little bit longer to make sure he is right.

"There are three I expect to be available. Calde has trained this week, he was just ill. Uwe (ankle) I think will be fine and we are expecting Incey (groin) to train tomorrow and he should be fine too."
