Bruno has described Blackpool's pitch as the worst he has ever played on as a professional.
But the full-back believes Albion did all they could to adapt, despite a 1-0 defeat.
Bruno admitted: "I think it's the worst pitch I've ever played on.
"I didn't play as a professional player ever on a pitch like today.
"It's really difficult because we are not used to playing on this kind of pitch.
"You never know where the ball is going.
"Maybe they know how to play on this type of pitch."
Albion were beaten by a Jamie O'Hara free-kick.
Bruno added: "We knew about the pitch, we knew about Blackpool's style and we tried to adapt.
"I think we did it but we didn't take our opportunities.
"They had a free-kick and they scored.
"They were waiting for this kind of things, these free-kicks.
"I think we played as the pitch demands and we couldn't win."
