Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale is taking a break from Twitter because of "too many negative comments".
Stockdale and the Seagulls came in for criticism on the social networking site after yesterday's 2-1 defeat by Middlesbrough at the Amex.
Stockdale told his 31,000-plus followers: "I'm having a break from Twitter too many negative comments toward me and my team mates we will be working hard to make things right."
Yorkshireman Stockdale joined Twitter in July 2011.
Albion's next opponents on Tuesday night are Huddersfield, where the former Fulham shot-stopper was on schoolboy forms.
