Albion slipped a place to 19th in the Championship after Huddersfield served up a shock tonight.

The Terriers picked up a second successive win as they enjoyed a 3-1 victory at Wolves.

Harry Bunn and Sean Scannell put Town in charge by the break and Conor Coady added a third six minutes after the interval from 25 yards before Bakary Sako replied.

Wolves had gone 16 games unbeaten at home.

They might have extended that run and gone top of the table had Sam Ricketts’ early effort gone in rather than hitting the post.

But Huddersfield were well worth their win.

Fulham closed the gap on the Seagulls to three points with a 4-0 success at home to Bolton.

The Cottagers have won two in a row under caretaker boss Kit Symons.

Hugo Rodallega, Fernando Amorebieta, Lasse Vigen Christensen, with his first goal for the club, and Timmy Hoogland did the damage.

German right-back Hoogland has now scored four goals already this season.

The result heaps more pressure on under-fire Bolton boss Dougie Freedman.

Leeds and Reading shared a goalless draw at Elland Road with Glenn Murray going close late on for the Royals.
