Paul Anderson reckons "nice guy" Sami Hyypia might not have recognised him when they were together at Anfield.
But Ipswich's former Liverpool winger will be hoping to make an impression on the Albion boss at Portman Road tonight.
Anderson, one of the senior members of the Ipswich squad, was a youngster just breaking through at Liverpool when Hyypia and co ruled the roost.
He said: "I was fortunate enough to train with the first team a few times and was involved with a couple of matches.
"Whether or not he remembers me I don’t know! I obviously remember him because he was a legend at Liverpool.
"He was such a nice guy when I was there, but I probably wasn't close enough to the first team to go and speak to someone like him.
"If I'd have asked him for some advice he might have just said ‘who are you?!’"
