A boring game at Withdean today which leaves Albion still searching for their first home league win.

Hereford came to get a point and played very defensively. The first half was dire and there was only one clear-cut chance when Murray was one-on-one with the keeper, but unfortunately his low shot was saved.

The second half was no better it took 81 minutes for the crowd to have something to get excited about. A trip on Anyinsah by N'Gotty should have been a penalty but the referee did not see it, and more importantly the linesman did not see it. A cross shot from Murray was the only other notable chance and the game finished with a barrage of boos.

The match was another awful home performance and we’re 17th still. I'm starting to fear the worst with Peterborough and Hartlepool. Then there’s Leicester, Millwall and a run of cup games with a small squad - I'm not looking forward to the rest of the month. We need to pick up some points or we could be in a relegation battle.
