Officially the most frustrating game of football I have ever seen, a game that should have seen us win comfortably - but once again Albion fail to perform at home.

Two two footed tackles from Walsall - one on Cox and one on Hart in the first half - saw straight red cards for both players and left Albion thinking with a two man advantage they would go on to win. This wouldn't be the case.

Just before half-time a free kick was whipped in and headed in by Mattis: 1-0.

The whole crowd and I probably thought Brighton would easily turn it around but unfortunately it wasn't to be; no imagination in the team.

The same thing happened every time: Kuipers to El-Abd to Richards to Cox, Cox cuts back and crosses... 'keeper collects or defender heads out. It was ridiculous.

Adams should have told the players to go down the middle or shoot from outside the box. We must have pumped 30-odd balls into the box and we didn't score.

Richards didn't help - he gestured to the crowd after he got some stick for his poor deliveries - he has since apologised.

I do not agree with booing but on Saturday it was warranted. It was a poor performance and they need to start playing better at home to bring the crowds back as they are starting to dwindle.

It's okay though as our next game is at home to Man City who beat Portsmouth 6-0. It's either going to go one of two ways, a massacre or Brighton winning 1-0. I hope we win but can't see it I'm afraid.

We now lie 13th in the table. It's a few more games before the alarm bells will start ringing with me. KEEP THE FAITH.
