A new social event is set to help dads, grandads and male carers make new friends and discuss their struggles.
Community interest company Dad La Soul is organising "a fun night out" at Hove Business Centre in Fonthill Road on May 9.
It believes men have fewer opportunities to socialise after having children.
Dan Flanagan, Dad La Soul founder, said: “We want to create a dads' night out that is fun, silly, and enjoyable but also which goes deeper than just generic ‘bloke chat’. It’s a space for dads to come and let off steam, rant if needed and offer and receive support.”
Dad La Soul organises nights out at gigs, stand-up comedy nights, and sea-swimming sauna sessions to improve mental and physical health.
Tickets cost £6 and Dad La Soul also offers free spaces for people with low or no income.
