A drug dealer has been jailed after police officers found Class A drugs stashed in his bum.
David Bakare was stopped by police after being found in a hire car linked to heroin and crack cocaine dealing.
After officers noticed he was “clenching his buttocks”, they searched the vehicle where drugs were found and took him into custody where more drugs were “stashed inside himself”.
Bakare, 28, was also found to be operating a drug supply line bringing the substances into Brighton.
Sussex Police officers had already been investigating Bakare, from Kensington, prior to the stop in Eastern Road in January.
He was first arrested in Ship Street at 3am in September after being seen dealing laughing gas from the boot of a silver Volkswagen.
On April 4, Bakare pleaded guilty to supplying heroin, crack cocaine and psychoactive substances.
Sussex Police Inspector Ollie Pullen said: “This case shows our determination to disrupt the supply of class A drugs which cause so much harm to our communities.

“This includes working to deny criminals the use of the road network.
“Bakare had no choice but to plead guilty when the case came to court.
“We are pleased that a significant drugs operation in Brighton has now been shut down.”
