Two seaside towns have ranked among the top ten most affordable and popular staycation destinations in the UK this spring.
According to a new study, Hastings and Eastbourne are both desirable places to visit at this time of year.
This is based on the average number of Google searches, the number of TikTok hashtag views and the average price of a hotel for one night in the towns.
In the study by credit card brand Aqua, Hastings ranked ninth in the UK with an average of 27,100 monthly Google searches and 109,600,000 TikTok hashtag views.
The study also found that the average price of accommodation for a night in Hastings is £102.56, which was considered more expensive than other locations but still affordable.

The other Sussex destination on the list is Eastbourne, which ranked in tenth place.
The town, which was recently labelled one of the saddest in the UK, was found to cost an average of £94.16 per night for accommodation.
It appeared in an average of 27,100 Google monthly searches and had 58,400,000 TikTok hashtag views.
Sharvan Selvam, commercial director at Aqua, said: "Staycations can be a great way to get some rest and relaxation.
"From skipping the airport chaos to cutting down travel times, holidaying close to home offers plenty of benefits, and might also save you money on things like flight costs and airport parking."
Blackpool was ranked as the most popular staycation destination in the UK with 135,000 Google searches per month on average, followed by Bournemouth in second place.
