A grammy award-winning artist will perform at a racecourse this summer.

Craig David, singer-songwriter and DJ, will perform at the Three Friday Nights event at Goodwood Racecourse near Chichester on June 7.

The event runs on three Fridays in June and combines music, horseracing and dancing.

The DJ, famous for hits such as Re-Rewind and Fill Me In, will perform at the laser lit Goodwood Parade on the first date of the three-part event.

On June 14, DJ Gok Wan will take the stage as the headliner, with the series set to end on June 21 with a performance from DJ and producer Dimitri from Paris.

Bars, private boxes and exclusive dining experiences will all be available at the event.

James Crespi, racecourse director at Goodwood Racecourse, said: "Three Friday Nights are back with a bang at Goodwood Racecourse this year, combining horseracing and music with amazing views of the South Downs for a truly memorable day.

"A ticket gives you access to an incredible evening of racing, warm up DJS and amazing food and drink before the main act.

"And with this year’s events featuring Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, Craig David, followed by Gok Wan and Dimitri from Paris, it looks set to be bigger than ever."

Ticket prices start from £40 per adult.
