Alistair Campbell and Rory Stewart are coming to Brighton this autumn for their biggest tour to date.

The election tour for their podcast The Rest Is Politics will kick off at the Brighton Centre before shows across the UK in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff and London’s O2 Arena.

The former Downing Street director of communications and strategy and former Conservative minister will take to the stage to reveal the intricacies and absurdities of life in Parliament and British politics, offering an insider’s view of politics both at home and abroad.

The tour is likely to coincide with the general election campaign, which is widely expected to take place some time this autumn.

The podcasting duo will be coming to Brighton on October 6.

Alastair Campbell said: “We sold out the Royal Albert Hall quicker than the Foo Fighters - we are going to have to up our game to sell out the O2 Arena, but hopefully our listeners can help.”

Rory Stewart said: “October is going to be a very important month in US, and most likely UK, politics, so this tour should give us the opportunity to discuss some of the most pivotal elections of our lifetime on stage with our listeners.”

Tickets for The Rest is Politics at the Brighton Centre go on general sale on today at 10am.
