An electric railway is in the running for a national award.
Brighton's historic Volk's Electric Railway has been shortlisted by The Heritage Railway Association for its Railway of the Year Award.
The winner will be announced on Saturday at the Metropole Hotel on Brighton seafront.
The Volk's Electric Railway will be up against two others for the award.

The railway, which is owned and operated by Brighton and Hove City Council, celebrated its 140th anniversary in 2023.
It is set to open this weekend, depending on the weather.
