Brighton is one of the most expensive cities in the country for a cup of coffee.

A new study reveals it is the third most costly place outside London to get a caffeine fix.

The average price of a cappuccino in Brighton is £3.26.

It comes third after Bristol, in first place at £3.31, and Manchester and Exeter in joint second place at £3.28.

At the other end of the scale is Hull, where a cup of coffee costs an average of £2.51.

The results are part of a wider study into the cost of hybrid working in cities across the UK.

The research, by Savoo, a money-saving website, looked at transport, rent and internet costs to calculate which cities are the most and least affordable.
