Many citizens have put Dubai in big letters on their wish list as it is shown as the utopia of the UAE. And it is clear that their government try everything to push out it’s good name from advertisements to word-of-mouth from previous travellers.

After leaving the airport, many local signs were mainly in English with small Arabic text underneath or they were just in English with no Arabic to be seen. This can be seen as confusing as Arabic is supposed to be the official language yet one can see more English signs than Arabic. This is one of the ways Dubai pushes itself as a tourist hotspot so that most visitors or even citizens who come from abroad will be able to understand and work their way around much simpler than being in other foreign countries.

Inside a well-known hotel in downtown Dubai, a young doorman stated that he was from Pakistan and he found Dubai through all available job offers and consultancies that were advertised to him. He took the chance and found himself working as a doorman in a luxury hotel. Shortly after, a front of house made it clear that he liked Dubai due to the many opportunities and attractions that bring in tourists from around the world to come and enjoy the nightlife.

Furthermore,  Dubai as a whole put in a large amount of effort in order to make their city as clean and attractive as possible. The city is also focused around it's main attraction, the Burj Khalifa, and makes a lot of profit from it through merchandise and the attention it brings.

 There are many different styles available without hassle of cuisine ranging from Chinese to Indian to Mediterranean, again giving you variety and freedom over what you consume rather than being force-fed a single cuisine repeatedly.

This and more are a few of the many reasons Dubai is so popular.
