A "tent city" remains on Brighton beach despite council efforts to move the encampment.
Tents and tarpaulins have been set up next to a groyne on the beach for over a month with residents reporting a plethora of anti-social behaviours at the site.
Despite Brighton and Hove City Council telling inhabitants that they had until today to leave, the tents remain on the beach as of this afternoon.
Green tents and bikes could be seen next to the site with a number of inhabitants at the site.

Drug injecting and fist fights are just some of the scenes witnessed by those living nearby who say they can no longer use the site.
Council officers were spotted at the tarpaulin town on Wednesday afternoon, engaging with its residents, some of whom were asleep under tarpaulin set up against a groyne.
A council spokesman previously said that if the camp did not leave by Friday then they faced a Community Protection Notice meaning the tents could be removed by a court and the inhabitants could face fines up to £2,500.
The council also committed to a "full clean-up" of the site once the tents were removed.
Brighton and Hove City Council were approached for comment on the latest update.
