A new art collection celebrating the life and career of Fatboy Slim is being released.

Created in collaboration with the DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, the artwork Eat Sleep Rave details the DJ’s work through his collection of gig and festival wristbands spanning his career.

The artwork uses the wristbands to create “dystopian cityscapes” which look to tell the story of Fatboy Slim’s decades-spanning discography.

Artist Vintage Shuffle said: “For the real Norman fans, the real geeks, there are lots of hidden references and subtle nods to his career.

“If you’re a complete Norman Cook nut, every picture is curated, every piece is there for a reason.

“There’s a lot of his music and imagery from his music videos and career in those collages but done in a slightly sideways way.”

Salisbury-based Vintage Shuffle is known for her intricate collages with many of her works taking inspiration from popular culture.

The artwork is also the latest collaboration between Fatboy Slim and Enter Gallery who have previously worked with world-renowned artists including Banksy.

The Eat Slave Rave limited art collection will be launched at the Bond Street Gallery on Thursday, August 24.
