A man who travelled across the country on a scooter is planning his next endurance test – running down every street in Brighton and Hove.
Matt Whistler, who holds three world records, plans to run along every road and street across the city council area.
The comedian and artist, 51, will now begin his training for the mammoth task and wants to make the endurance test “as difficult as possible”.
Matt, from Preston Park, said: “I’m looking forward to some of the extreme roads where the incline goes on forever.
“I’m primarily an artist and this is a way of showing that through human endurance. I want the journey to be as difficult as it possibly can be.

“I’m taking it very seriously. The groundwork will be entertaining in its own right.”
Matt, originally from Burnley, previously travelled from Land’s End to John O’Groats on a push scooter as well as other world records attempt.
The push scooter attempt saw Whistler cut through the 935 miles from the end of the country.
The effort raised thousands of pounds for charity with support from Adidas, Asda and Wetherspoon.
He also travelled 161 miles in 24 hours on his scooter and has jumped over multiple matchbox buses on his scooter at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, calling himself Prime-evil Knieval.
Currently, Matt is in the training and planning stage of his effort and is trying to work out the fastest route possible to run down all of the streets.
He has also set himself a number of rules to aid his journey, dubbed the Whistler Marathon. These include being allowed to take breaks in order to maintain his health.
He plans to complete the effort across a number of consecutive days and expects the endurance test to take some weeks.
Also going by the name of Artist Dotty, Matt also intends to create a number of art pieces inspired by his run.
His most recent work is currently on display in St Augustine’s Church in Stanford Avenue in Brighton.
