Gusts of 90mph are expected and there is a potential for "danger to life" due to flying debris being picked up by the winds.

There is also the potential for travel distrubances and power cuts in the region.

There are several spots you can watch the storm coming into Sussex such as through Eastbourne seafront.

Additionally, there is also a webcam set up at Hastings along the pier also showing the English Channel.

Both show how the storm is turning the waters choppy and waves are crashing against the coast.

What to expect from Storm Eunice red weather warning

A Met Office spokesman said: “Extremely strong west to southwesterly winds will develop over southwest England and south Wales early on Friday.

“Widespread inland gusts of 70-80 mph are likely and up to around 90 mph near some coasts, with dangerous conditions on beaches and seafronts.

“Winds are expected to ease from the west during the late morning.”
