A MAN arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a 19-year-old woman has been released on bail.
The body of Shana Grice was found by officers at an address in Chrisdory Road, Mile Oak just before 9.45am on Thursday (August 25).
Police have not revealed how the teenager died.
A post-mortem took place in Brighton on Friday.
A 27-year-old man from Portslade arrested on suspicion of murder was released on bail on Saturday until next month pending further enquiries.
Detective Superintendent Jason Taylor said: "This remains an ongoing investigation and has understandably come as a shock to the local community.
"We would ask anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, no matter how insignificant you may think it was, to get in touch.”
