The assult on the 19-year-old woman took place as she waited for a bus on Carden Avenue. When she pushed the man away he ran off down Carden Hill.
He is described as 5' 11", of skinny build and was wearing a dark hooded top and grey jogging bottoms.
Separately, on Monday August 22, an 18-year-old woman told officers she was grabbed around the waist by a man and touched over her clothes as she walked in Portfield Avenue.
She screamed and the suspect ran off.
Detective Inspector Clare Shiel said: "We would like to speak with anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious relating to either of these incidents."
