A TEENAGE girl was sexually assaulted by a man as she walked with a friend along Worthing seafront.
The middle-aged suspect was part of a group of four men walking in the opposite direction when the 13-year-old was inappropriately grabbed over her clothing.
The victim told police her attacker said nothing as the assault took place and then continued walking.
It happened on Thursday afternoon (July 28) west of the pier near the Oxygen Ride and opposite the entrance to Marks & Spencer. His victim was shaken but otherwise unhurt.
He is described as 40-50, of average height and build, wearing a zipped camouflage jacket and dark trousers.
Bald, but with wisps of grey hair, he was heavily tanned and wore a large gold stud or disc in his left ear. He was carrying a bottle of alcohol.
Witnesses are asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1125 of July 28.
