A man sustained life-threatening injuires after his car crashed into a tree this weekend.
At around 6.30am on Sunday emergency services were called to a single vehicle crash at North Street, Rogate, near Petersfield.
A silver Nissan Cabstar truck had left the road and collided with a tree. The driver, a 20-year-old man from Petworth, was trapped and had to be freed by firefighters.
He sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to St George's Hospital, Tooting, London, by the Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance, where his condition remainds serious.
