A MAN suffered a heart attack at a bus stop yesterday morning.
Ambulance paramedics went to Marine Parade in Brighton at the junction of New Steine at about 8.45am.
They found a man, aged in his 60s and with a history of heart problems, had collapsed.
Police officers were called to assist because the incident was in a public place.
The man, who was with his family, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
One passing witness told The Argus: "A man was being given CPR on the promenade. I had to distract my daughter as we drove past. I hope the poor guy is OK."
