AMERICA'S fastest growing restaurant chain MOD Pizza has chosen Brighton Marina for its second location in the UK.

MOD promises artisan-style pizzas made to individual orders with fresh dough and a combination of more than 30 toppings.

Pizzas are hand-cooked in less than 5 minutes while MOD salads are also made to order with 34 ingredients to choose from.

Pizzas and salads are the same fixed-price £7.47.

The pizza group pledges to pay fairly and staff are encouraged be active in the community, with chosen charity Rockinghorse getting 100 per cent of all food sales on its grand opening on August 11.

MOD will also be marching at Brighton Pride, and will have a weekend of live dance performances from Marina Studios dance crews, face painting and balloon art for its grand opening weekend on August 11-14.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Scott Svenson and his wife Ally, MOD Pizza boasts 126 US stores and hopes to add a further 30 new sites each year in the UK.

It is brought to the UK with TalkTalk chairman Sir Charles Dunstone and business partner Roger Taylor, and the roll-out is being managed by John Nelson, who masterminded the growth of Nando’s.
