A MAN in his 50s was sexually assaulted in a public toilet.
The incident in High Street, Henfield, on the morning Friday, June 17, is now being investigated by police. The Henfield man reported being touched in a sexual manner when he visited the conveniences. The exact time of the incident is not clear but the toilets do not open until 9am.
Officers are looking to speak to a man suspected of carrying out the assault and he is being asked to come forward.
PC Jenny Pietersen said: "We would like to speak to a man in connection with the assault, and appeal to anyone who may have been near the public toilets in the High Street and who may have seen someone acting unusually or loitering in the area."
