SAUSAGE dogs were the centre of attention at a fancy dress competition.
The dogs strutted their stuff while their owners indulged in a hot dog eating contest - giving people the chance to win their height in sausage as well as other prizes.
The event took place to launch a new gourmet hot dog restaurant called The Dog Haus at seafront night club Patterns in Brighton.
The venue, near Kemp Town, has branded its Dog Haus eatery as "Brighton’s very own celebration of sausage".
Awards were handed out for categories including best dressed pup and prettiest bitch.
