A PIZZA takeaway boss won a prize worth a whole lot of dough.

Qadeer Ahmad had the best shock of his life yesterday when he was delivered a brand new Range Rover - worth £81,850 - with £10,000 cash in the boot after entering an online competition.

The 26-year-old, who works at the Portslade branch of Domino's Pizza, said his prize could not be topped.

He said: "It's a bit of a change from my old Honda.

"It's a 2000 plate and has loads going wrong with it.

"I had been talking at work about how I need a new car.

"They'll be pretty surprised when I turn up in this.

"I cant wait for everyone to see it."

Qadeer had no idea he had won the prize after buying his £9 tickets from website BOTB.com, until the site's founder Will Hindmarch arrived on his doorstep in Old Shoreham Road yesterday morning.

Qadeer added: "My landlady opened the door first but when I got to the door and saw Will and everyone there I thought something strange was going on.

"I hoped I would win, but never really thought it would happen."

Qadeer is now planning to have a party for all his friends this weekend - and planning to upgrade his flights for a planned trip to Dubai.

Will, who is the brother of the fashion designer Anya Hindmarch, has become known as "the most hugged man in Britain" for always making the supercar surprises in person.

He said: "It was great to surprise Qadeer as he was looking to upgrade his old car, and what an upgrade.

"And it sounds like there is going to be quite a celebration this weekend as Qadeer wants to throw a party for all his friends. "I imagine he's going to spend the rest of the week on the telephone sharing his good news."
