A woman has been arrested after a man died at a hotel.
Sussex Police officers were called to the Chatsworth Hotel in Worthing by paramedics dealing with a medical incident in the early hours of this morning.
Medics were attempting to revive a 58-year-old man who had collapsed.
The man died at the scene and now police are treating this incident as a "sudden death".
A 31-year-old woman has been arrested for a drugs related offence.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police were called to the Chatsworth Hotel, The Steyne, Worthing just after 4.15am on Wednesday 29 July after a report a man had collapsed in a room.
"Paramedics were already present but efforts to revive the man were sadly unsuccessful and the 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The circumstances of his death are unexplained.
"The coroner has been informed.
"A 31-year-old woman has been arrested for a drugs related offence."
