A man was stabbed in a suburban street last night.
The attack happened in Capel Lane, Gossops Green parade, Crawley at 9.20pm. The suspect ran from the scene, according to police.
The victim, a 29-year-old man, suffered a stab wound but his injury is not believed to be life threatening at this stage.
He has been taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The suspect is described as Asian of large build, wearing a dark cap and was carrying a weapon, believed to be a knife.
Officers believe the two men are known to each other.
