A STREETWEAR designer has gone from selling T-shirts in nightclubs to selling out exclusive collections with John Lewis.

Sebastian Stall's Pear Shaped Apparel was based out of his bedroom up until April last year, with him and his mother packaging 1,000 items for his first John Lewis collection.

Now he has his own retail outlet at Brighton's Open Market and is preparing to launch a pop-up in Kensington Gardens.

Images of the latest collection PSA Arcadia SS15 were shot by photographer Nima Elm at Black Rock with Brighton models Tess Dimos and Nicholson Davids, a member of local band Normanton Street.

Olivia Savage collaborated on the collection with a series of illustrations which explore the urban wilderness.

Pear Shaped has also taken on two interns from the University of Sussex.

Seb said: "It's great that after eight years of being based in my bedroom I finally have a home for the brand.

"The Open Market has its quiet days but it's a real slow burner and everyday gets a little bit busier.

"I couldn't afford the North Laine even if I wanted to but I'm glad to be here in such a community space."

Pear Shaped Apparel will be at IsWhatItIs, 102 Gloucester Road, Brighton, on Monday August 3-9.
