Four teenage boys have been arrested after a man was robbed on the seafront. 

The 27-year old Brighton man was in Madeira Drive, Brighton, shortly before 6am on Sunday, when he was attacked and robbed of his wallet, watch and a quantity of cash.

He sustained head injuries for which he was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital before being discharged.
 
Following an immediate search of the area, police made four arrests in nearby West Street and East Street, The watch was recovered.
 
The four, aged 17, 16, 16 and 15, all from South London, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and after being interviewed were released on police bail until May 24 while enquiries continue.
