Two fans were arrested for racist chanting and throwing a smoke bomb onto the pitch during Albion's 4-3 win over Birmingham this afternoon (Saturday).
The Seagulls collected a valuable three points against the Midlands side.
But Sussex Police's Chief Inspector Simon Nelson tweeted:
Final score #BHAFC v #BCFC 4 : 3 ...plus two arrests for racist chanting and throwing a smoke bomb onto the pitch. 20k+ safe & lawful fans.

Chief Inspector Nelson told The Argus the smoke bomb was launched by an away supporter.
The racist chanting was by a suspected Albion fan.
UPDATE on Sunday February 22: Sussex Police say the arrest made yesterday for racist chanting was in connection with a previous Albion game.
