YOU can now see the South Downs from atop an open-top bus.

The number 77 bus to Devil’s Dyke from Brighton will become a seven days a week open top bus route with additional evening services running until 8.30pm as part of the Breeze up the Downs project.

Two open-top buses will work the Devil’s Dyke route, running at least every 45 minutes during the daytime.

Up to two children per adult go free on the 77 bus. An adult return to Devil’s Dyke is £5 – senior citizens’ bus passes are also accepted.

There is also an option to buy the new Discovery ticket which provides unlimited service on all Brighton and Hove bus company routes for £8.50. There is also a family ticket which includes two adults and three children, for £12.50.
